Admissions open for Short Term Programme in Career Counselling

A collaborative short-term course in Career Counselling is being offered from TISS' Mumbai Campus. Collaboration is between the Promise Foundation, Bangalore and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (from the School of Human Ecology), Mumbai.
The Dates: 10th to 19th November 2017 (Last date for application: 20th October 2017).
About the Course: The Course has been developed at The Promise Foundation based on extensive research on the career guidance needs of adolescents/children and the socio-cultural context. The process based guidance system has developed assessment and guidance materials, a career dictionary based on Indian realities and the labour market. Theory, assessment and practice components provide the requisites for ethical practice in the field. The Short-Term Programme is aimed at providing career guidance skills and also enhancing counselling knowledge and practice skills with adolescents and youth.
Curriculum Transaction:
Lectures and Discussions, Demonstrations, Personalised Tutorials where necessary, Skills Practice Role plays Group Presentations Assignments and Tests, Formative and Summative Feedback, Skills practice with Students in Practice Schools and Independent field assignment.
Eligibility: Marks: General Category: 50% of marks. Reserved Category: 40% of marks or its equivalent
