The Tata Institute of Social Sciences proposes to implement reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) (as per the guideline and flexibility provided in implementing the reservation by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) over two years), as defined and provided for by the Government of India in the 103rd Constitution (Amendment) Act, 2019. Therefore, the TISS-NET results which were expected to be announced on 4th February 2019, will be announced on the 11th February 2019 at 8:00 PM.

Important Notice for the General category candidates:

Candidates who have attended the TISS NET 2019 and belong to general category and are eligible to be considered under EWS, can login (https://appln.tiss.edu/) and apply for the EWS Reservation, as defined by the Government of India, the 103rd Constitution (Amendment) Act, 2019 (Links given below for download) by furnishing the required information and documents on the aforesaid link.

The last date for completing the above process for 2019-21 admission under EWS reservation is 5.00 p.m. on 8th February 2019.
