**Minimum Educational Qualification:
a) Candidates should have successfully completed Bachelor's Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Some Masters Degree programmes will have additional/specific eligibility requirements. Candidates are advised to refer to programme specific eligibility criteria (given in the Table below) for more details and ensure that they satisfy such specific eligibility criteria.
b) Candidates who will successfully complete, in all respects, all the requirements of their final year eligible degree (including all examinations and internships, if applicable) by Wednesday, June 5, 2019, are also eligible to apply.
c) Those candidates who are eligible to apply, but cannot submit the degree certificate and grade/mark sheet at the time of admission are required to submit these latest by September 30, 2019, failing which their provisional admission would stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to the candidate. The onus will be on the candidate to submit the degree/provisional degree and grade/mark sheet by September 30, 2019. No further extension of date will be allowed under any circumstances.
d) At the time of applying candidates studying in 3 year degree progremme should have passed in all the subjects for the 1st to 4th semesters and candidates studying in 4 year degree progrmmes should have passed in all the subjects for 1st to 6th semester.
e) Until a candidate submits her/his degree certificate and final mark/grade sheet as evidence of having successfully completed the eligibility criteria by the given date, the admission offered will remain provisional.
f) Eligibility, determined on the basis of information provided in the application, will be used for the final selection process. If the information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect or misleading at any point of time, her/his candidature/admission will be summarily cancelled. The Institute shall also reserve the right to take any legal action as deemed fit for any such act of misrepresentation or false declaration.
g) Candidates shortlisted for personal interview are required to produce original certificate and mark sheet on the date of personal interview, for verifying that the candidate is eligible for admission. Those who are in the final year but are eligible to apply (as per clause b, above) are required to produce the mark sheets of all previous semesters (excluding the final semester) for verification on the date of personal interview. Candidates who do not bring the aforesaid certificates in original shall not be allowed to appear for the interview.
Programme Specific Eligibility:
b) Candidates must have 2 years of professional work experience in any field after graduation.
Candidates should have (i) successfully completed a three year Bachelor Degree in any discipline, or (ii) four year Bachelor Degree in medicine, paramedical sciences, and other four year programme like pharmacy, veterinary sciences, engineering and law. (iii) Candidates in their final year should complete all examinations and internship (wherever applicable) on or before 5th June, 2019.
Candidates who have completed/are in the process of completing B.A./B.Sc. Honors in Psychology,
Candidates who have completed/are in the process of completing B.A./B.Sc. General – with minimum of three papers in Psychology
Candidates who have completed any Bachelors Degree from a recognized University and have completed a University recognized one-year, part-time/full-time post-graduate diploma in counseling fulfilling the UGC criterion of minimum 40 credits (Distance and online diploma courses will not be considered)
Candidates in their final year should complete all the examinations and internship (wherever applicable) on or before 5th June 2019.
LL.B. Degree with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. Examination in April / May, 2019 can also apply
**Minimum prescribed Educational Qualification
1. Candidates with a Masters degree (MSc/MA/MCom) are eligible to apply for the integrated B.Ed-M.Ed programme. They will be admitted to the relevant pedagogic specialisation based on their academic disciplinary specialisation/major.
2. Only those candidates who will be able to complete all the requirements of their final year Master's Degree examinations by Saturday, 08 June 2019 are eligible to apply.
